We are aware that you may have a few questions regarding our school. As part of our best practices, to assist you, we have compiled a list of questions frequently asked to best serve you.

Yes. Genesis Montessori Gifted Academy maintains rolling admissions. Applications can be submitted year-round. If there is space available, children can join at any time of the year.

Yes. Genesis Montessori Gifted Academy accepts the following Florida state need-based scholarships: 

Parents have a choice of sending their own lunch, or they can order lunch from the school.
Genesis Montessori Gifted Academy has a policy of “no candy nor chocolate, and no soda.” We place great emphasis on providing healthy nutritional meals to our students. 

GMGA does have a uniform policy. Students are required to dress with the school polos. Boys must wear school shorts or slacks, and girls must wear school shorts or skorts. On colder days, school jackets must be worn. No open-toed shoes are allowed for safety reasons. Students found out-of-compliance will not be admitted to classes.
We are proud to share that we believe in diversity and inclusion for both students and staff. We promise that equity will be evident once our demographics survey is completed.

Genesis Montessori Gifted Academy is student centered and data driven.  Research proves that lower student-teacher ratio is conducive to better learning, it increases engagement, benefits student achievement and reduces behavioral problems. In addition, learning activities are more tailored to individual students, and educators provide more feedback and focus on the strengths of each student.

GMGA is dedicated to revise class sizes to meet the following ratios by program:

Infants — 4:1 (four students to one educator)

Toddlers — 6:1 (six students to one educator)

Preschool and Kindergarten — 8:1 (eight students to one educator)

Elementary — 10:1 (ten students to one educator)

At GMGA, we aim to deliver the most optimal level in academic, social, and ethical standards, paired with a Montessori-infused curriculum with a scope and sequence that inspires an intrinsic love and appetite for higher-order learning.
