VPK

Once you reside in the state of Florida, if your child turns 4 years of age by September 1 of the current year, he/she is eligible to participate in Florida’s FREE 540 hours of Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) education program.

Our Montessori Christian Curriculum focuses on reading, writing and social skills. It prepares children to be ready for kindergarten.

Our VPK instructors have a minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate and have specialized Montessori and Florida VPK training.

Ratios are 1 instructor to 10 children; no classroom exceeds 20 children.

Genesis Montessori Gifted Academy 2024-2025 VPK program begins August 21st and will end on April 6th to accommodate our Kindergarten Readiness Camp. We offer 3-hour VPK instructional sessions (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM OR 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM) that meet the VPK’s 540-hour requirement. Instructional VPK hours are paid by the VPK program, therefore will be at no cost to parents. We understand that the need to be flexible is necessary to accommodate parents/guardians work schedule, we offer extended care hours for our VPK students, which include healthy supper, and snacks at a rate of $175 per week from 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM OR 12:30 PM – 6:30 PM at a rate of $205 per week.

Genesis Montessori Gifted Academy 2024-2025 VPK program is structured to closely follow the Broward County Public School calendar.

On non-VPK days, the rate remains the same at $175 or $205 per week.
