After Care

Genesis Montessori Gifted Academy’s After Care program allows parents the flexibility, they so desire. It is an optional addition to the regular school day. This top tier option is an integral part of a complete education for many families.

Lower School After Care

Our Infants through Kindergarten after-care program runs daily from 3:00 p.m. through 6:30 p.m.

Parents must notify the school office and enroll the child in after-care if they wish to participate. Activities are age-appropriate and are planned according to the developmental level of the children. These sessions are scheduled for a 30-minute rotation and include:

• Snack time
• Arts and Crafts
• Music and Movement
• Legos & Puzzles
• Story time
• Outdoor play (weather permitting)
• Educational videos

Upper School After Care

GMGA 1st through 6th grade students can enroll in the aftercare program, which runs daily from 3:15 p.m. through 6:30 p.m.

The school offers a selection of extracurricular activities that are offered daily from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Students will have the option to participate in these activities, then join aftercare sessions that include:

• Snacks
• Homework
• Independent reading
• Board games
• Outdoor time

Parent Pick Up

Parents must report to the front office to pick up their child. Upon arrival, and after the appropriate identification of the individual seeking to retrieve the student, the front desk assistant will radio the aftercare teacher to bring the student to the front office for dismissal.
